Tancho isn't a bloodline — it's a specific pattern. A koi qualifies as Tancho when it has a single, well-placed round red marking on its head and no other hi anywhere on its body. The most common Tancho are Tancho Kohaku (white body), followed by Tancho Sanke and Tancho Showa (with sumi added).
